This week we had the great pleasure of welcoming local DJ Eadzo to Cancer Lifeline. What began as her goal to raise £500 grew into an incredible achievement of nearly £9,000 – a testament to her determination and to the generosity of everyone who supported her campaign.
Eadzo shared how her sister Ciara, along with the rest of her family, has benefited from the care and understanding offered at Cancer Lifeline – support they continue to draw on today. Her story reminds us that behind every fundraising effort is a deeply personal connection and a community coming together.
Thanks to Eadzo’s fundraising, almost 300 counselling sessions can now be provided for people across North Belfast. These sessions will reach individuals living with cancer, those caring for loved ones, and families grieving a loss.
We are profoundly grateful to Eadzo and every person who donated. Fundraising like this is vital to ensuring Cancer Lifeline can continue to be here for local people when they need it most. Together, we are building a stronger, more compassionate community in North Belfast.
