Today we had the privilege of welcoming the Buick family to Cancer Lifeline following their incredible fundraising event at Solitude, where a Manchester United v Leeds United game was organised managed by @wes_brown24 and @jermainebecks83 came together for a very special match.
In memory of Michelle – much-loved wife of Stuart, mother to Harry, Ethan, Charlie and Ryan and friend to so many – an incredible £12,372 was raised.

Today was especially meaningful as it was the first time Michelle’s boys, Harry, Ethan, Charlie and Ryan visited Cancer Lifeline, the place that supported both Michelle and Stuart throughout their cancer journey. Seeing first-hand where that support was given was a powerful reminder that Michelle’s legacy will continue to make a difference for so many others.
Thanks to this remarkable fundraising effort, 100 local people affected by cancer will be able to receive five one-to-one support sessions at Cancer Lifeline, helping them navigate one of the most difficult times in their lives.
To Stuart, Harry, Ethan, Charlie and Ryan and everyone who organised the event, the players who gave their time, and every single person who donated or attended – THANK YOU. Your kindness will have a lasting impact on individuals and families across North Belfast.
Together, Michelle’s legacy lives on. ❤️
