We were honoured to welcome Dame Julia Cleverdon DCVO CBE – Chair of the National Lottery Community Fund – to Cancer Lifeline this week.
Dame Julia spent time with our incredible staff, volunteers, and board members, listening to the voices of those at the heart of our work. She toured our centre in North Belfast and saw first-hand the life-changing services we offer to local people affected by cancer.
It meant so much to have her take the time to truly understand the unique challenges our community faces — and to hear how Cancer Lifeline, with the vital support of The National Lottery Community Fund, continues to provide care, comfort and connection.
